Best tens for midbass in bags I seen prv came out with new neo magnet tens anybody using them? There about 220$ on the site which I'm fine with. I'm opened minded and new to the 10"in the bags but wanna get the most I can out of them. I'd be using jefe rings to install them. And the amp would be determined after the speakers get picked out to match. Let's here what you got and how much power you got to them.
I'm trying to buy once and cry once if you know what I mean!
I've not heard heard the new ones but I've got the PRV forte 10s in my bags and powered by PRV A1MH nano 2ohm. I picked that amp off of specs but I feel like they'll be able to handle more. Sound deadening will be key for best sound I had to go back and put some in the latches after I had done the bags.
Probably the most used 10" midbass is the Faital rs350 and for good reason too. They will take 600-900 watts each.

Unfortunately I'm just not gonna carry that kind of watts around on my daily rider thus will play the give and take game to get the best bang for what my parameters are.
Tons of good damn options which is the good news.

They do like power! Marco tried out the MMats but, I think he over powered those before he could get a good feel for them. I also had prv 10w650a's being pushed by the 1200.1. Just don't hit as low as the Faitals.
Thanks guys I just looked up the model of the PRV'S 10w1000-NDY-4. Figured I'd drop that here just so you know what I mentioned above.
There's not been a lot but from what I hear they're supposed to be bad a$$ are you planning on running them low pass or high? I run the fortes high crossed at 100hz

I've tried a good amount of 10's here's are some thoughts.
Faitals - they sound great and produce the closest thing to subwoofer bass. The smaller the bag the more power you need. I've used a 1200.1 and 1600.1 on them. Heck I've used a 2k and 3k also! I'll say that I know a few guys running 1600.1's on them and have blown a few of them pushing the envelope. They're great, but be careful.
GZ 10's (new ones) - Since they're 4ohm you have some more wiring amp options. I've used a small as an 800.4 bridged to them. I think with any of these it really depends how loud the rest of the bike is, and how loud you need your bass to keep up with the mids and highs. You can use a 1600.1 with these with no issues. These aren't as low bass as the faitals but do sound like subs.
GZ 10's (old ons) - Pass, they're not that good. The MMats 10's are almost the same.
PRV - New 10's. These ****'s punch but you need big bags for them to sound right. I like the neo motor and that they are 4ohm. Very punch bass, but don't expect it to roll on the bottom end like a sub.
PRV 10W650's - these are work horses. I've used as little as 200w from a JL 600/6 on them and they will fill out well in the low end but not as punchy as the 1000's and not sub bass like the others. I've never blown a pair either though.
I'm sure there's others out there. Hope this helps.
