new head unit installed
Started reading this forum several years ago. One of Ultra Nuts post was on pa rz4 2000 amp &polk speakers. Bought them installed, way better than stock. Speakers in boat went bad moved polks to boat, With help from Gannicus & others put in polk mm652 in tp & kappas 62.11i in fairing nice upgrade. Decided to purchase af head unit on Crutchfield Dec sale purchased Kenwood excelon kmm-x503 & install kit 5v po,no cd ,2 usb ports. Much cleaner & crisper sound. With HD radio lost fm reception,with Kenwood i now have fm again. Needed a bracket for amp mount went to Lowes picked up a concealed stringer bracket $ 1.98, cut in half drilled new holes to mount on bike, industrial velcro to hold amp down. Works great. Have not tested sound on road yet but the difference in garage is fantastic. Anyone on the fence about getting rid of stock hu pull the trigger. For under 200 for radio & install kit you cant go wrong. I also like being able to skip songs on usb with hand controls.
