The shipping does suck sometimes, but we don't have a lot of choice on most of the brands out if the US. We just don't have any suppliers up here selling the brands available south of the border.
DB Moto is one of the few brands I have found here in Alberta, but pretty much my whole system had to be ordered out of the US.
All my amps, my DSP, mounting brackets, and 4 of my speakers had to be shipped from the US. Even a couple items that I have bought in the past were cheaper, including shipping than I could buy it for in Canada.
