Leveler or flash, not both. Use a DSP if you went flat flash but the RF flash has an EQ laid into it. Sounds pretty good to me. Set your high pass and your good.

What Scarydog said. I have a BT Line leveler but ditched it after the RF flash and it actually sounded better.
I just installed the lid kit on my SGS, i used one of those air saws from Harbor freight with the all purpose blade. I know what you mean about not messing them up. Its surprisingly easy once you get over the anxiety of drilling and cutting your lids....
I have a jigsaw but may have to get a new tool....
I have been reading up on neodymium speaker magnets and am really curious how these will sound. The last time I was serious about audio it was BIGGER is BETTER. I guess speaker magnets went the way of powertool batteries, now the lighter smaller ones are better. Hard to wrap my head around that but I'll know for sure in a couple of weeks once this is installed.

After installing all of the above, the sound quality of this setup was total crap. I did everything I could, including buying a RF DSR1 which made almost no difference. After working on it for a week or so the rear speakers both lost highs at the same time when I was adjusting the freq on the back channel....
So, the Stinger 700x4 is history and I have a Rockford Fosgate TMX400X4ad on the way. The sound out of the Mmats with the Stinger was about half as good as the sound from the Stock speakers with the RF PBR300x2 amp. Either that amp had some really bad issues or it's just not "all that" but the sound out of that was horrible. I couldn't stand to listen to it when riding because it was so bad. Even with bass all the way out there was distortion, even with the gains all the way down there was distortion, with the DSR1 there was distortion. I did manage to get a song or 2 to sound good at a reasonable volume but the majority of my tunes had way to much mid and high and I could not adjust it out no matter what I did. Bass was muffled and mostly distorted. More quality products from China.
We'll see if this does the trick. I assume there was an issue with the amp, especially after the back channel lost highs. Per the wattage on the Stinger at 4ohm I am not losing anything going to the RF amp since their wattage is the same on 2 or 4 ohm, 100x4.. The RF amp is about $100 more than the Stinger but features are much better.
On another note, the 1 or 2 songs that did come through the amp good really showed potential for the RF rear 6x9 speakers. Those really do get good bass when sitting still. Unfortunately when riding I can't really hear them unless I lean back but they are for my wife so she can hear the tunes better and I don't have to have it blasting in my face so she can hear the front speakers.

Swapped the stinger for the RF amp....lol step backwards.
I has the stinger amp and mmats speakers tuned by just setting gains and freq and they sounded incredible. As SBates said, likely all your fault for your unhappy results.

I knew I would get that kind of a response. Folks, even with the gains turned way down it sounded like crap. I managed to get my PBR300x2 working with the Boom 1 speakers, this is no different. Going from 2 speakers and a 4 year old RF amp to Mmats and a Stinger 700x4 was a step down...lol.
Something was wrong with the amp, plain and simple. I called, they took it back and gave me a refund. Done with Stinger.
