Default GTS no radio
Hello, I recently bought a 2020 Rag with the GTS stereo. The first few days I had radio no problems, even preset stations. Go out there one day and no stations will come in. ZERO! Only thing I can think is I bent the antenna over and tuck it in the seat strap when I cover the bike. It does not take any force and bends easily. Could I have broke something in in the base? I removed the fairing and the antenna is properly attached to the stereo. Thanks

Have a look at where the antenna screws into the bike and see if you damaged something there. In future I'd unscrew the antenna when you cover the bike. Does the radio work otherwise i.e bluetooth or usb?

Yes the Bluetooth and USB both work. I looked and did not see anything broken unless it’s under the rubber coating.

Replace your AM/FM antenna, with either a stock or H-D short antenna. Other antennas will thread onto the mount, but may not give you good reception.

Are you getting noise? meaning no stations but static noise.

I figured out the problem. I installed rear bag mounted LEDs and they interfere with radio reception. Unplug the LEDs and the stations come in clear. I bought the Ferrite chokes and no luck. Next thing is move to the hidden antenna but the HD one gets mixed reviews. Do any of you have experience with other brand hidden antennas?
