Default Another wiring question
Dsyton 408 needs a hot, ground, and remote. Can I just connect them to the lines for my amp? @ the insert sites on the amp? Couldn't imagine having to run all the way back to the battery.

I just installed one and ran them back to the battery along with amps ground and power wires.

You do. It need to run them back to the battery if you have dist blocks hook them in there

most amps need a minimum of 8-10ga wiring for power and ground, you cannot take a shortcut and power the amp from the small gauge factory wiring.

A Dayton 408 dsp draws 1.5 amps on a 12v circuit. Seems to me you could just grab power from the amp wiring.
