If they are an RF dealer, they have to RF tools to flash the HU with the RF flash. The other flashes have to be done with the techno research tool I believe. Mine was flashed at a local dealer a few months ago, and they had both tools. I went with the 8/2 flash.
True, IF they are a RF direct dealer... but they can get the product through other channels, so some dealerships do not have the TR flash tool.
If you were not at the far southern end of the state I would have you come by and flash your bike for you.
