PNP replacements for BT 7.1?

PNP replacements for BT 7.1?
My '15 Limited has what was popular at the time... BT4180, 7.1s on brackets, MM651s in the rear pods, SNI-35 line out converters (NOT BT line levelers). I don't need the LL because I have the old flash... 6 speakers, 2 amps, amps off... something like that. I have working fade & everything else. I did try the BT LL but it made things worse.
My question...
Going under the fairing over the holidays to install Sirius, looking maybe for a replacement for the 7.1s. The system sounds good but to be honest I was never blown away by the 7.1s. The 651s actually sound better I think. The 7.1s seem to be "muffled" for lack of a better term.
Without going new amp, DSP etc. is there a worthwhile drop in to replace the 7.1s? Need to be at least water resistant.
