Although I disagree with not being able to hear your rear speakers at speed, I will agree that you wont hear the low frequencies at speed but the mids and highs can be heard and create that "bubble" while riding. As far as fairing set ups go, A set of gzcf 6.5 coax or mmats pa601 cx coax are about as good as it gets. The GZ's play a lot lower than the mmats but the mmats are louder with the same amount of power. If fm is important then a stinger amp will do you justice.

I had mmats front and rear speaker lids with the RF kit. Yes I could hear my rear speakers at highways speeds. The lower end was washed, but still as others said, you can still get that bubble of sound while riding.
