I have 2 questions here:
1. I have Boom Audio Stage 2 saddlebag speakers and amp. Also have an aftermarket tour pack with speakers, does anyone know if I can add those speakers to the amp in the saddlebag?
B. I have asked on here about upgrading my saddlebag speakers and many have suggested Rockford Fosgate TMS57 speakers. My question is this, with the announcement of the partnership between HD & RF, are the new saddlebag speakers compatible with Boom Audio amps?
I know it might be too early to get an answer on the 2nd question, but it would be nice if they did because that would be A LOT less than buying the whole new system!
(of course the best way to get this is to get a new CVO, but I'm not going that route!!!)

You can replace the boom lid speakers with the tms 5x7s and it will sound good. The only thing you will need to do if leave the tweeter wires unplugged and only plug in the woofer( the only plug that will fit). As far as the new he/rf setup goes, I have not seen them yet but will tell you that since they are new and untested, they just mat be as bad as the old boom speakers. I will tell you they will be more expensive than the tms 5x7s.

Surprisingly they are "only" $30 more for the H-D badging basically. The lowest price I have seen for TMS57 is $319, the new H-D/RF stage II are listed at $349
Plus the TMS57's are NOT compatible with Boom Stage II systems.

The tms57's will work on the stage II setup. They are just coax and not bi amp speakers loke the boom II. I dont know about the new HD/RF 5x7's as they are new and untested in the field. For all I know, they may sound damn good or they may blow in 2 months of use.
As far as the price on the tms57's, they went up in price since I purchased the 2 set's I bought 6 mo. ago. I paid $249 then.

Alright, so there have been suggestions for the RF TMS57, however I have found that Kicker has a 6x9 that is 2ohms. Is there a conversion "kit/plate" that will work with these?
I just thought of another option, if it will work! I have not seen/heard if anyone complaining about the Boom Audio! Stage 1 5x7 speakers, can I just put those in the place of the Stage 2's?
