Finally received all the parts for my 2020 trike New RF Stage 2 install and completed everything last Friday. Had a great weekend and a few days this week to ride and I must say for a HD branded audio system, it is very good. I had a J&M Rokker system that **** the bed a few weeks ago so I wanted something seamless to install. This is by far better.
It definitely changes Freq response as you ride based on speed so a flash to flatten the EQ is probably not the best thing for it.
I've been in contact with an audio shop that is going to test out the flash to flatten the EQ to see if it helps or not. The IOS app has a few EQ settings and also a Custom one you can adjust yourself.
Overall it does sound great and compared to my buddy's older boom upgrade it is night and day.

The frequency is NOT changing as you ride. It only changes from the bike being off/on. It is DEFINITELY best to flash the radio to flat and then set the eq for what you like.

I agree it does change when you start the bike (As it always has) but on the new RF it DOES change while riding.
The wiring harness connects into the can-bus system and is fed data in real time. You can hear and feel it as you ride trust me. The issue is if you change the HU EQ curve by flashing it, then it may mess up how it is designed to sound.
BME
(BASS MANAGEMENT ENHANCEMENT)
Designed to produce more bass, no matter the volume. The active amplifier DSP continually adapts to speed and road noise and maximizes the speakers' bass output to create powerful bass at any volume or speed.
M-DEQ
(MOTORCYCLE DYNAMIC EQ)
Our smart amplifier adaptively changes the EQ points in real time, meaning the tune changes to ensure incredible sound quality.

You do not want to flash this system, if the presets are not to your liking, then you can create a custom on the app. When the system is set up, and speakers are designated, that is telling the Amp how to react.
