Yep, most definitely using a DSP. Have a DD DSI-2 sitting here. I usually like to at the minimum, run my fairing in stereo, if I have the channels to spare, but I definitely agree it is a benefit being able to tune fairing and lowers seperatly, If for no other reason, than to adjust the volume to balance things out.
I'm currently Stereo on the fairing, and mono every where else on my old bike. The G2's worked great for balancing out volume in the lowers with Mmats in the fairing at hwy speeds.

Yep. That is what I found running 4 GZ's up front. The lowers reacted differently than the fairings when tuning........guess the amount of air space in the lower pods. So switched, and run the fairings on one channel and the faring on another

So, I have GZ coax sorted for the fairing and lowers, and a set of Hertz SX 165 neo coax going into the tour pack until I get my speaker lids sorted out.
Have a 2400.4 4 ohm in the plans, as well as a 800.4 4 ohm.
DD DSI-2 DSPSony MEX M72BT
Now I need to sort out my speaker lids.
Planning 8" or 8" and a horn. Looking for best options there.
I currently have a set of DB Moto WDX8's kicking around.
I also have a set of Faital 8FE200 and a set of PrV 450ti horns kicking around as well.
Any better recommendations for the speaker lids?

To me, I've always ran stereo, and could not fathom running mono. I've heard the debates and certainly recognize the convenience that mono brings, but Imho it's not worth the SQ hit. I listen to all sorts of music, and purposely try to key into the L/R channel separation and the good news is, with this setup having the HP to hear it clearly at any speed, you can really appreciate it. I'll agree that at highway and above speeds that things start blurring, but anything below 50 mph is very detectable to me.

I also agree that bridging does leave a little on the table with the lowers. No doubt there. But with previous testing with the lowers on and off, they definitely widen the sound stage, which is good enough for me.

As I mentioned, if I had jumped up to the 2400, I would have ran them all straight up on their own channel. However, I'm not done. May very well get the 2400 and move the 1200 to the back. The new sizes of the EVOX opens up so many more options. And, who knows what the next 6 months to a year might bring?
