For me I went with the Cardo for the Dynamic Mesh Communication (crystal clear with great range), JBL speakers for better sound, totally waterproof, alway on voice operation...
Happy I did and it's doing most everything as expected without the additional cost of the WHIM. Only thing I don't have now is access to my CB but for the few times I use it, I'm ok.
I went with the sena for the 100% integration with the HD WHIM, works perfectly every time. with carplay now its even better, all totally hand free. I havent even seen a CB since 1970 or so LOL much less use one hahaha.

HA! It works...and actually works good. A couple of groups I ride with use CB exclusively so it's nice to have. That being said, it would be great if I could convince them all to go Cardo or SENA.

Actually, you can have access to your CB if you're willing to listen to it via the bike's speakers. You can add a hand-held microphone. The caveat here is that in order to get the microphone to work, you'll need to key both the hand mic & the bike's PTT switch. The hand-held mic can be modified to bypass its' internal switch so that only the bike's PTT needs to be pressed to activate CB transmit.

All this assumes you have the headset connector on the tank console.
