I lost sound in channels 1,2,3,4.(Upper fairing and lowers) I'm using all 8 outputs on DSR1. Tweeters and subs are still playing through DSR1 and they each have their own amp.
Ive tried:
Replacing harness on DSR1
Checking to make sure the amp was still working.(EVOX 800.4 still working)
Checking settings in DSR1
Reseting head unit. (Sony AX100)
Updating DSR1
Checking connections and RCA cables Still can't get music from the 4 speakers!
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Brian
Can you provide more detail on how you have this setup wired? Also how you tested the amp to verify it's working? Frankly, based on what you've said so far it seems the only common element to all 4 speakers that are down (the DSP is still functioning for some elements but they have their own amps)
I know my wiring is correct because it was planning excellent for the last 1.5 years. I replaced a sd 250.2D with a SD evox 400.2 and I replaced a SD Evox 800.4 that I sent for repairs with the same amp. It was playing fine until I placed the fairing back on.
I meant how is your system set up as in what is connected to what and how. Anyway, I know you had said you checked over the wiring. It's still unclear to me how you tested your amp other than to say it worked when you closed up the fairing. Still sounds like the amp to me.
Got if figured out. It was a bad fuse. The fuse wasn't blown but the metal that fits in between the plastic was loose enough to wiggle around. The amp power light was still on, but I don't think it had enough amps to power the amp.
Thanks,
Brian
Thanks for coming back and letting us know the outcome as too often the OP doesn't. Closing the loop hopefully will help others in the future that are searching for answers.
