Default Amplifier questions.....

Hi thanks for taking time to read this. I recently acquired a new to me 2017 Ultra Limited. My first Harley having Indians for a while now. I just upgraded the stereo system and I'm having an amp issue.......I think. I have a soundstream pn4.520d and 4 Polk Db652's I have everything wired correctly and it is working but when I go to set my gains via multimeter I am only seeing 13vac with the gain turned full up. I'm using a 1khz 0db test tone while doing this. Nothing is bridged that is per channel. I have an appointment at the end of this week to get the radio flashed as well. Any clue on why I'm not able to get up to 20vac? Thanks I'm advance.

Lol I already know this is only V1. I know it isn't the best but better than stock and I got everything for 200 bucks I couldn't pass it up. I do not have a LOC. Spliced straight into the wiring harness for the amp.

When you say spliced straight into the wiring harness, so you mean for speaker level inputs or for power and ground?

Do you have the volume turned up on your source and if you’re using Bluetooth, do you have that turned up as well?

Yes for the speaker inputs. Power and ground are run to the battery. HU full volume and phone is full volume.

Probably not getting correct input voltage to amp. If you don’t have enough going in, you won’t have enough going out.

A RF or Soundz flash will help that with a LOC. Pac 35’s are nice because you can adjust input voltage to amp.

I have some pac 35s on the way. Hopefully be able to get my flash done next week. I had to have a surgery unexpected on Wednesday sort of put a damper on my stereo.

So I got the pac 35's installed now whenever I turn the gain up I get feedback that is correlated with it. The higher the gain the higher the feedback. I'll have volume at zero and can here it through all the speakers. Any ideas?

How are you setting gains?

Check all your wiring and RCA's.
