Default 2021 FLHTK Want to Add Lower Pod Speakers. Upgrade Everything?!?!

Hi people 2021 FLHTK. Thinking about upgrading the audio.
I want lower pod speakers and have learned everything needs to be upgraded (replaced) with stage 1 or 2 Boom or Fosgate.

With that in mind I referred to the forum and YouTube. I have been watching videos of Carlos at NVS Audio.
He seems credible but everybody has a differing opinion on what to use and how to use it.
All I want is to replace the 2 fairing speakers, add 2 lower pod speakers and replace the 2 rear tour pack speakers. I do not want lid speakers.

Mid-size budget $$$, Thanks.

What would you guys recommend?

Ok so first thing. Your bike doesn't have speaker pods in the lowers. I think there might be aftermarket pods you can buy for twin cooled bikes, but not sure about fitment on many speaker choices.

One popular choice new to the market is the cicada line. You should check them out for an all in one complete kit that comes with speakers, amp a built in dsp along with wiring harnesses.

Or you could piece together a system for that money or a little less. But again, someone else may need to confirm what options you have for your lowers before deciding on other speakers and amp/s.

Hi, the bike is twin cooled and with HD Boom or Fosgate you can use the existing lowers openings.

Otherwise, you can purchase the aftermarket front side of the lowers to accommodate at speaker.
I was looking at the Cicada.

You can use these to add speakers to the lowers. This is what I have on my 2021 tri glide.

Amazon.com: Metra BC-HDLFP Car Electronics : Automotive Amazon.com: Metra BC-HDLFP Car Electronics : Automotive

Now as Teed eluded to, the cicada speakers will drop right into the tour pack and lower pods without any modifications. As far as the fairing goes, I would look into the GZ yellow baskets as they will play a bit lower than the cicada's and are just a good sounding coax.

You will need to get the HU flashed before you add an amp. You can run all 6 speakers off a 1200.4 evox amp and that will wake up the audio you install as that will provide 200w to the fairing and 150w to each of the lowers and tp speakers. Hope this helps.
