Mmats shipped my speakers really quick, the kiddo is with her mom, and i have free time to install. I have to make a trip to the hardware store for smaller spade connectors as the Mmats are smaller than the others. I also need small washers as the mounting holes are bigger on the Mmats.
My thumb control module went out long ago so i get to redo that as well. I tried to just swap out the boxes not too kong ago but it still wouldn't sync up so im going to redo all the wiring.
My fairing vibrates pretty, bad and i was surprised to see the brackets all intact.
Im not going to show any install pix because my **** isnt nice and neat like y'all's. I forgot that i had a mix of red and black wire looms so it looks like a circus in there

Curious on what your take will be on this.
Please remember to post what your amp settings where while you were running the Mille. We were discussing it on the other post.

**** man I totally forgot. I thought the hertz bkew but I have another issue. I had the same muddy crackling sound from the left speaker. I tried moving wires around with music playing and it didn't change anything. Im sort of at a loss.. Ill take a pic od what thr settings currently are and another after using the MM

When you say you moved the wires around, did you wiggle them or put the left channel speaker leads on the right speaker? If not, try that. If the crackle moves to the right speaker, check speaker lead connections at the amp or RCA cables.

^what he said^
then swap the RCA input to the amp from one channel to the other. Then if you need to keep moving upstream. Swap the inputs to the LoC around (if you have one) or the outputs from the HU.
Literally just wiggled some, too much and id be playing with it lol. No loc on mine, hell I didn't even know what that was before a few days when I saw it on another thread

lol...this and The Showdown Forum might be the only 2 where it's ok to play with your wire.
No LoC so no RCA cables then (assuming stock HU). Troubleshooting means swapping/isolating until the problematic part of the signal path is identified.
So to start:
1 check wiring for polarity and tightness on entire signal path from HU to speakers
2 swap speaker left to right
3 swap amp output left to right
4 swap amp input left to right
The above is just a suggestion. You might find it easier and/or more logical to use a different sequence (i.e. it's probably easier to swap the amp outputs than it is to swap speakers)

Do have rca and a Sony deck. I guess i still have no idea what a loc is
these system can be tricky. I was installing batwing, it is a tight fit. all of a sudden stero starts playing. Ignition switch is off. I pulled fuse to amp power wire. still played. turned ignition on and off still played. I finally pulled wires out of back of radio. it stopped. hooked it back up and it seems ok. smh just keep chasing it you will find it.
