Default Upgrade audio 2021 road glide
Looking to do a 4 speaker system. Want clarity over loudness, something I can hear doing 70 mph. What would you do and what’s the approximate cost?

Man, the sky is the limit. Best thing you can do is put a budget together or at least let us know how much you're willing to spend.

Also, 4 speakers....where are the other two speakers going on your road glide? Lowers? 6x9 lids? 8" lids? Adding a tour pack with pods?

Replace original 6.5 and 6x9 in the saddlebag lids. I’m hoping to spend $2k - $2.5k…

So, you have quite a few options. Depends on if you're doing the install yourself and what you're looking for exactly. You wanna stick with coax level speakers? Or do you want pro component speakers, which would def require a DSP in play.

Are you running stock lids/speakers or aftermarket 6x9 lids? Because stock are 5x7

i had a 4 speaker system before this one with no dsp, not absolutely a requirement...i got a lot of compliments on it

a dsp doesn't hurt though

You were running component speakers?

Not that it cant be done i guess....seems like its risky tp me, or at least would be fully utilizing what a comp speaker could do.

i thought you were at etown in KY, maybe i have you confused with someone else....I had AD4000s, components

you are probably more knowledgeable than me, just a newb audio fan here

Oh no I was there. And I remember which speakers you had. Didn't know you weren't using a dsp though.

As far as knowledge, i know very little lol and the little I have learned, I'll mostly like will forget after a couple days of learning it.
