I just ordered my new stereo equipment. I ordered a SD 1200.4 EVOX2 4 ohm, a set of Cicada CX65.2 for the TP, a set of GZ YB for the fairing, and an AHD2 wiring harness for a Rockford DSR1 that I already have.
What else will I need for my install? Will/Should I get an amp bracket? Is there a preferred amp install kit I should get for wiring?

Thank you,

You don't need an amp rack....the 1200 will fit right under your radio behind the headlight tabs. If you have that stupid HD Connect module, you'll probably need to remove the mounting bracket for that and either relocate it or remove it altogether....if that can be done. I asked my local dealer and they think it can be removed with no issue. Since you'll also need to have your radio flashed, that HD Connect can be turned off as well...I think.
Might have a hard time though finding a dealership to flash your bike, so check around. You can also go to most any audio shop that has the techno research tool.
Amp wiring kits....amazon is usually a good place...the boss kits work fine. Get a 4awg kit and run pos and neg to the battery. There are holes at the battery side and the neck side for the down tubing of your frame you can pull those through and not have to remove your tank at all.

I mean take the seat off...its pretty obvious to see on that side. Neck side, it comes out right behind the neck bearing. Cant really get a pic of that side.
I used rebar wire.....make a hook through the cables, tape them up really well and pull through. Spraying the end with pam spray will help, as it will be a little toucher to make the turn past the neck bearing. But really easy.
Teed, I got to thinking and now have another question.
I ordered a 4 ohm amp, the GZ's are 4 ohm speakers, and the Cicada CX65.2 are 2 ohm.
Am I going to have a problem with these choices with the SD1200.4 4 ohm?

Not Teed, but still have answer. The Sd1200.4 is 2 ohm stable, you'll be fine.
