Speakers making tone at no volume
rhe soundstream feeds high level in to Rockford DSR1 DSP then RCA to the amps.
my amps are two SounDigital 800.4 EvoX
I have a 0 Gauge upgraded frame ground to the bike and I pick up the ground for the amps there. 8 gauge wire.
positive is a 0 gauge off the battery that heads in to a fused distribution block then Two 8 gauge power feeds the battery to the amps.
I think I am pulling remote turn on from the DSP and I think thats is my issue.
can anyone help?
what type of noise? Usually, the remote power-on is to avoid pop from the amp (you want the amp powered on last and powered off first to avoid this). If you're talking about hum it's typically grounds.
do you have the remote out power on the DSR-1 connected to the power input on the amps? What is the remote power input on the DSR-1 connected to?

the head unit remote wire powers the dsp and the dsp remote out powers the amps.
I have a 0ga from the battery down to an area inside the battery box area that I wire brushed clean on the frame. I pick up ground for the amps there.
All my wires are oxygen free copper and they are either ring terminals connected or they have ferrules. I dont smash wires anywhere for a connection.
thank you for help. Ill address the ground again and see if it cleans up.

If its like a low hissing noise, gains could be set too high.

power comes straight from the battery. Roughly 12 of 0ga in to a fused distribution block and 8ga to the amps
the negative is from the post to the frame and then off the frame to the amp.
the gains on one amp are both below halfway
the gains on the second amp are just a tick past half way. Like pointing just before 1:00
all gains set with a multimeter to appropriate AC voltage
Also make sure your remote is connected to the correct blue wire from your headunit. Make sure its not the power antenna wire, with an aftermarket HU, but Im not familiar with a soundstream harness but it shows the remote wire not connected on a factory radio.

So whats the volts you have the speaker gains set to? Not sure I saw where you mention which speakers you have.
