Default Need help with lower speaker wiring

I have the rockford fosgate stage 2 system (the recent update that now uses their m5 amp). I want to add 2 more 6.5s to the lower fairings that I'm adding to the bike. Do I want to use the rear output of the amp for the lower speakers or do I use the included y adapters to split the front output between the upper and lower fairing speakers. The speakers are 4 ohm and the amp supports running at 4 or 2 ohms.

If you are running just the 2 fairing speakers off the amp front channels, then yes you use the rear channels off the amp for your lowers. What does your current set up consist of? What head unit? Speakers and where?

It's the stock gts head unit with the Rockford Fosgate m5 800 watt amp and 2 TMS65 6.5 speakers. Link to kit is https://rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/hd14-stg2/

You can just wire the lowers to the rear channels and your good to go. You will keep the amp in 2 channel input. BTW did you have the gts flashed? That is a must.

The radio was flashed but I'm assuming that they flashed it for 2 fronts no rears. I've been told I would need it flashed again to activate the rear output.

You dont need rear output as you have the output from the front. Just make sure your amp is in 2 channel input and the rear channels will have signal. That is the switch on the far left near the bottom of the adjustment panel.

So what harness part number did you use to connect the rear output to the lower fairing speakers. I have the following speakers 76000952

I used a Rockford harness that I bought off their website that connected to the clips from the amp, then I had to cut off the ends and run the wires to the speakers and then attach new female disconnects. Later on I did change them to the Y tap from the front speakers and used the rear outputs to go to the Rockford saddlebag subwoofer, so I have 2 6.5s on each front channel and then the 2 rear channels power 1 10in subwoofer. I've attached a photo from when I was testing the sub setup before I cut into my saddle bag.
