I'm adding / relocating my amp's to inside the fearing and would like to know if 8 AWG is ok or do I need 4 AWG from the battery.
My current setup is a BT4250 running Hertz SPL SHow with DA Horns (front) and GZ yellow basket 7x10 on saddle bags lids this amp is inside the fearing, SD 800.1 inside saddle bag running 2 DA MSPRO8.
on this setup I have an 8 AWG from the battery running to the BT4250 and another to the SD 800.1
My new setup will be as follow
BT4250 running the SPL and GZ
DA Micro2v2 running the DA Horns
SD 800.1 running MSPRO8
Dayton 408 DSP
Would like to keep the current 8 AWG which has a 40 AMP fuse, run it into a fused distribution block in the fearing (with 40 AMP fuses as well) and from there provide power to the 3 amp's inside
Would the 8 AWG be able to handle the load or to play it safe should I use 4 AWG from the battery to the distribution block instead?
