Has anyone replaced the TP speaker pods with the 6.5 2014 bigger pods ? I took mine off awhile back but now I put them back on and did a test fit with the GF before I spend money on getting speakers, amp and maybe bigger pods shes a little thick 😏 and pods are snug to but comfortable she said.
Now I did get the metra 1/2 rings for 6.5 sprks and with grilles will be even tighter on her: I could drill other holes in the pods to move them out ward more and use shins to keep them

Yeah I thought so the 14 TP are shaped differently and I would want them to look in line without gaps so GF will need to loose some weight if it’s to snug 🙂 . I got another set of pRV’s I’m going use in them.
I’ll see how they sound in the pods if needed I will port them into the TP and one good thing I have mb quart speaker grills that will fit over 1/2 spacers.
Going to use one of my sound stream 1200x4 that I installed when I first got my chick . I’m going to bridge it in to 2 channels on the pRV’s in the TP pods . This is the shroud for the amp more pics to come
