Hey guys! I've got a Sony 7000 installed in my 2012 Streetglide with Metra inner fairing. The HU is due for an update, but I didn't put a usb extension onto USB1, but I have my iPhone lightning cord plugged into it. Can I somehow use the lightning cable to then adapt back to a female USB so I can plug in the flash drive at the end of the lightning cable for the update? In other words, I will have to remove the outer fairing to access the USB1 port on the radio unless i can figure out a way to put the flash drive onto the end of the lightning cable (which extends out beyond the fairing where it can be reached)? Any way to do this (I haven't found an adapter that is a female lightning to female usb) or am i just going to have to pull the outer fairing to do the update and install a really short usb extension to the radio for next time?
Thanks!
Jerry
