Default My Audio Build

Hello all. Been reading a lot, watching a lot. Some good info here. Thanks to those that have contributed. Looking for help, guidance, suggestions on the tunes for my SGS. Plan to install myself. Tuning, thats another story but im not there yet. What I'm thinking so far...

DSP. Have axxess 10ch with harness
plan on OFC copper wire, disconnects, soldered connections, ferrules, an amp rack...

GZ yellow basket coax for fairing. (Maybe hertz components with tweeters where the stock mirrors were)
Hertz 6x9 Neo coax for lids. No 8" lids.
SD 800.4 (1200.4?) to power the fairing/lid speakers.

Bags. Not sure... was thinking some shallow mount 10's. Maybe 10" Hertz Mille pro 250's due to air space required and Hz range... maybe JL's, Pioneer... would 8's be better? Some 8" Hertz 200L's?
SD 1200 to power them. (Maybe 1600)

I found an OEM set of lowers (what are the odds) for a stereo set of bags. the previous owner had 'the harley stereo' installed in them... that was the answer I got when asking about the holes. Its still going to be a rider bike so I want a rear mount speaker (Nagy 8 or 10" rear rings), willing to put some layers of fiberglass in the bags to make them stronger. I think i could do some removable brace setup for rigitity if needed. I want to store my jacket, helmet... in the bags when I stop somewhere. I sometimes go food shopping for some stuff or odds n ends at the end if my local rides too. So that leaves sealed bags out.

I had to read that a couple of times. You want to put 6x9's and 10's in tock bags and still want to be able to put a coat and helmet in them?

sorry. i could have structured that better. i might edit it. and yes. 1/2 helmet, in one bag, jacket in the other. if i put a 10 in the back of the bag, i should have at least 1/2 my bag space. or am i mistaken?

Not if you do your bags correct. I have rear mounted 10's. Then a brace, then a port. I can fit a rain suit is about it in there in aftermarket extended bags.
You will also want to reinforce your plastic bags as well (dynamat/rhino).

Now you would have some storage room if you did rear mounted 8" (200L) because you could get by without a brace and port.

I'd be done if it wasn't for designing my own dsp and amp brackets and 3d printing them. My printer is going as I type this with what is hopefully the final design. Brackets drop in place due to some features I designed to work with the stamped steel factory bracket. It makes for easy bolting/screwing in place. Plus all the ziptie holes keep the cables routed nicely and they don't get pinched.
