The head unit its self is amazing. I feel the product we pushed out there before complete integration testing. The PITA was the wasted time of troubleshooting it down to the obd/can bus issue. Hopefully just a plug in usb firmware update when it gets done. Alot of time wasted troubleshooting their problem. Hang in there guys have faith, I am trying to.
HDRMBL, It's the bad harness that came with the radio because I reinstalled my Sony 7000 and Boombox with the factory harness and works fine. Also, it could be the module and software too. Jay at Volunteer Audio is working to solve this problem.
Thanks!

I tried to talk Jay at Volunteer Audio But his tech staff wanted nothing to do with me. You bought it somewhere else its your problem. Now that I bought my bike to NVS Audio. Carlos is on top of the game to fix the problem with Idatalink. You dissed me. Now its my turn. You better not take any credit for Carlos's expertise in this matter. He had my 2014 Street Glide as he was talking with Idatalink engineers to try to fix the problem. Carlos just did not turn me away and say not my problem. To all you reading this. Buy your stuff from NVS audio. Check out his vids on Youtube.

Dr Len, I just dont know about this. I might do the same if I was Jay. Hes trying to do tech support and take care of the customers who bought from him. He doesnt work for Maestro or SoundSteream. Hes running his company and working for his customers. Dont get me wrong, I get your frustration. But if I am having issues with something I bought from someone who made custom harnesses and configuration to work with my bike, I just dont see where someone else has to take care of me. I am just glad you are getting it fixed. Thats the main thing. Thanks for all the updates.
All I wanted to do is get some feed back. If I had some info I would had shared it with him.Notice he never shows the bad stuff that rolls into his shop only the great builds he does
Motorcycle audio.com No tech support.
Dr.Len, Yes you are right. I purchased two new RR Modules over the weekend brand new never been flashed. After I flashed them I'm still having the same issue. It have to an radio problem or harness that came with the radio problem!
Thanks!

They did send a new harness and module. I will install by thurs. As Len said its 99% the idata module. I will update the end of this week. Jay and NVS audio is working it.
I do have the module installed. Being told by volunteer audio, folks are having issues if they have a programmer attached to the bike ie FP3 fuel pak, thunder max etc. They must be removed in order for the head unit obdll to work.
Interesting, Thunder Max isn't an attachment, it replaces the ECM.
Installed new harness and IDATA link that volunteer audio sent. Same issue security light on with OBDll function enables and bike wont start and throw ABS CODE, along with a BCM. Definitely looks like a software issue. I will call Jay and let him know tomorrow, the new harness was a longshot for sure. Radio still kicks *** and is an awesome upgrade. We will what software updates they kick out
