Problem with Mode Select/Scan Switch on '03 FLHTCU
I recently developed a problem with this right handlebar switch. When the mode select switch is depressed (which should allow you to change from radio to CD and the like), it acts as if the "toggle down" feature has been selected instead of changing the mode. That wouldn't be so bad if it were stuck in radio mode, but at the moment it's stuck in that hideous weather band mode.
I removed the switch from the housing, and I'm pretty sure it's the problem rather than the wires; but before I order a new one and end up with one of my infamous "ball o' solder" splicing jobs, I thought I'd ask here to see if there were other possibilities.
Thanks.
