There are technically 3 different "yellow basket" speakers.... Which are technically called the Competition series. (not sure how the "yellow basket" slang started - but its confusing to NOOBs)
The GZCF are Iron Ferrite (substantial magnet) and have a rating of 50hz-20khz, with built-in tweeter crossover/protection of 12db/active
The GZCF-NEO are Neodymium (smaller magnet) and have a rating of 70hz-20khz, with a built-in tweeter AND woofer crossover/protection of 6db/octive
The GZCC are a true component set with separate 6.5 mid bass, tweeters, and crossover.
According to NVS audio, they crossover the non-NEO's at 80-90hz

It's all good and after spending several hours looking through posts, I'm assuming most "yellow basket" references are for the GCZF or GCZF-NEO - but they are different speakers with different characteristics both physical and in sound.
