I have a 15 street glide with the boom audio front fairing speakers. I contacted a audio shop near where I live and they recommended the new Kenwood Excelon p-hd3fr for the front fairing and to cut my bag lids since I have the boom audio its a plug and play system. Its $1500 for the system but its so new that Ive never seen anyone with it or cant find any videos thats not from Kenwood themselves on it. Does anyone have this system or heard a bike that has it? I just dont know enough about it to sink $2,300 installed into that new of a product.

Hard pass. You need to talk to a shop that is a bike audio shop.

Yeah, we dont have any of those around here lol. I live in a pretty small town. Are you saying hard pass because of the Kenwood system or the audio shop?

I would bet it is both. There is a few online retailers that will put together a good mostly plug and play. What is your install ability?

your in N.C. you should be able to throw a rock and hit a reputable installer down there.
If you want just ok sound go with the rf, kenwood hogtunes what have you. If you want much better sound call a bike audio installer such as volunteer or others and have them put a system together for you and install it yourself.

Yeah, turns out there is more than I realized. Im new to the Harley game Ive rode a street bike all my life up until a year ago. But I got in touch with Daniel Hearn of Bad Attitude Audio and hes working on me a quote. I dont mind going over the $1500 as long as its worth it. Thats why I was skeptical of the Kenwood, they are just so new and Ive never heard that setup.
