I have a 2008 RK with an after market batwing currently i have cheap 4" speakers, they are powered by a Sony XAV-AX1000 radio and its not too bad but I like to get better speakers that will sound more clear than the 8$ eBay speakers that are on it now. Can anyone suggest any good loud good brand speakers?

Well....looks like that radio only puts out 20W RMS. If you are starting down the rabbit hole, I would probably put an amp in one of the bags since it there really isn't a safe place behind the fairing. Then upgrade your speakers to some 6.5's. Not sure how much better you can get with the power you currently have. If you are stuck with the 4's then I would still get a good set and amp them.

Thank you !!! According to Sony website the radio outputs 55W , I also have a small amp that will fit inside the batwing and yes I can upgrade to bigger speakers. thank you again
