Hey Soup I had some AD coaxials in my 2010 Ultra and they fit with just a 1/4" spacer that was barely noticeable once the grills that came with the speakers were put on. Here's pic of the ADs with 1/2 inch spacers on that tour pak. Later on I got the 1/4" spacers and some black stainless screws and they looked a lot better. They didn't push into the seat like they do in this pic.
Which speakers were those? The 2000's or 3000's? How did you like them back there...they have low db rating...must have been sending tons of power to them...could you hear them or did they get washed out?
They are 2100 series, AD CX621s. I could hear them just fine with 140 to 150 watts going to them. These speakers were very popular years ago. I never had the urge to swap them out of the TP pods. I had a set in the lowers for a while but swapped them out for some PA 601s because I didn't need the highs they produced coming from down low.

Oh man!! That's impressive...I wanted to put a set of 3000's in my fairing but was worried with the low db rating I wouldn't be able to hear them 🤦🏻

I think sometimes the wattage needed for a Street Glide without lowers may be more than is really needed for an Ultra. I had folks swearing up and down that I wasn't getting the sound I knew I was out of my GZ yellow baskets in the fairing with only 150 watts going to them. Kinda strange to have folks you've never met in person call you a liar.
Also exhaust and windshield choices come into play as well. I noticed in the summer when I ran a shorter windshield I did have to turn the volume up an extra notch or two compared the when I ran my taller recurve windshield. Like folks say everyone's ears are different. I'm sure there are better speakers out there than these ADs by now but since you seem to have the same TP pods I had on my old bike I thought I'd chime in. With the black screws and 1/2" spacers they sort of looked like something that would come on the bike.
Gotta be honest, I've never installed tour pack speakers. I hate them and avoid them at all costs, LOL. I just looked up mounting depth's:
--DD's 2.83"
--AD's 2.25"
--SV's 2.6"
Bit the bullet on the DD's - they fit in the TP of my 09 Ultra. They are getting about 180w crossed at 100hz and they get LOUD but not like the SX Neo's (those got piercing loud).
