Default 5x7 to 6.5 adaptors

Does anyone make an adaptor to go from the 5x7 speaker lids to a 6.5 speaker? I can't seem to find anyone that makes a decent 5x7.

if you have a Jigsaw, drill and some patience, there are probably some videos on Youtube on how to make some adapters yourself. I've made them before using polycarbonate going from 6.5s to 5.25s. Caraudiofabrication.com has some good videos.

Don't they have adapters to 6x9? That would get you some lower mid-range.

I haven't seen any that go from 5x7 to 6x9, at least not ones that cost less than $150, which is ridiculous. They make 6x9 lids but I don't like how they fire kinda back cause they don't sit in the corner of the bag and face the rider, they follow the contour of the bag lid and fire toward the back of the bike.

Yeah I saw that volunteer audio one. No way I'm dropping $250 on just adaptors and some wiring.

I think I may just go with the CT 5x7s.

The Schoche link has the 6x9 adapters for $50 though.

They do but it's for the 13 and older bags and am going to be putting Rushmore bags on my bike.

Not yet but I plan on getting them along with Rushmore bags. I like the way that the factory speaker lids look.
