Time for download: 3 min
Time for install on stick 1 min
File size 968 mb.

So I have not been able to download the freekin' Databases at all.

Now what?
Maybe I don't have all virus stuff turned off?? Not sure on windows how to do that

Turn off windows defender in the control panel under windows security. Reformat the usb drive to fat32...do a fresh fingerprint and proceed

are you sure you're clicking on the update navigation file and not the Harley dealer file update

 

Choices:
1) new map for NA has circle with a dot in it. I take that to mean it is the one I am downloading .... COULD I BE IN ERRORé
2) DLR file (has green check mark by it

Will start over and try to get two green checks

What size is the flash drive that you are using? They wanted us to use at least 16 - I decided to use a 32. Also, remember to completely format the drive.

Also, did you get an e-mail and invoice from the system saying that you have paid for the map?

 

I used 32GB flash drive
I did get a copy of invoice
I was on the blower with MOCO and they asked for proof of purchase (invoice, copy of fingerprint, photo of "no map database/dealer database" messages my first grandchild's birth date. They have elevated the situation and .......... I wait.
There are two files listed on the Update do download: one is the MA-25, with a red dot, and the Dlr POI file that has a GREEN check mark beside it. MOCO says that file shouldn't be there and may be causing the issue in that I am only getting that file and not the 11GB map file.


Hope this is large enough to explain

That's what happened to me when I tried to download it the first time or two. I got customer service number phone and we reformatted the USB drive to fat32 and disabled all virus software. Then I had to get a new fingerprint off the bike.... at that point I went back into the update and refreshed the screen. Presto, the complete file was there and it installed successfully...
