Map Update Authentication Issue
It's worth a shot but I couldn't get both files checked until I did what I stated.
Well at least the problem is narrowed down to not being able to download the map update file...

Happy travelling. I love the ride over to LG from Toronto and through the Mountains. Have been to Americade at least a dozen times. Not planning on it this year though even though I could make it without my BoomNav. LOL
I spoke with MOCO today and they will let me know by Friday the status of my ticket. It was upgraded to level two.
Not sure we can do any more ourselves, but if you get rained out in LG, p.m. me or email sschklar@me.com and we can have a zoom. Thanks and ride safe. Great place to find accessories, lights, tires, etc.

Issue with NA Map update RESOLVED! Finally I received instructions from MOCO on how to sort out the software issues with my GTS NAV system.
I'm back up and running with the 2025 Naviextras NA Maps.

What I read about others having to try the download a couple of times is a different issue as that did not corrupt the Nav, just a download issue from Naviextras which I believe is fixed now. HOPE THIS HELPS. Happy to provide more if there questions I can answer.
I did as you suggested. I uploaded the latest firmware for the GTS which I had previous to trying a new Map upgrade. The upload went perfect, a SUCCESSFUL message appeared. So I then took a clean USB exported a new fingerprint and downloaded the new map once again. Alas, nothing had changed. Could not get passed the Authenticate.....
I checked again and screen on bike says: No Map Database, No Dealer Database, ........
What do you think a RESET to factory defaults would do? Anything besides erase all my current settings?
Thanks for the excellent suggestion though. I even tried to upload the firmware a second time. It was also successful but made no difference in Nav databases being available.
