I did not do this particular setup I went with the Kenwood stage 2 "budget build. I wrapped it all up about an hour ago and it's pretty awesome. So much better than stock. Everything came packaged as described in the boxes. Packaged nicely. I wish I could figure out why this forum will not let me post photos but I need to do a separate thread specifically for their setup. Overall I'm happy with how it turned out. It was in every word plug and play.

I bit the bullet and got the Hertz 2 speaker system. Planning on adding the cut-in kit once it comes out. Easy to install. Followed the install video. piece of cake. But I am an experienced installer. While a little costly, I feel it provides me what I needed, Good sound with plenty of head room.
I've had it installed for about 2 weeks now. I bought the 4-speaker system so I won't be able to install the saddlebag 6x9 speakers until the cut-in kits are available. It's an amazing addition and so easy to install. The power output is so high that I don't need to turn it past 3/4 even at 80mph. I'm sure that Volunteer Audio adjusts the amp to reduce the deep bass so they can get max volume from the amp. I'm ok with that because the sound is still rich and clear. I'm sure that some deeper bass will be added when I install the 6x9's.
As a side note, I love buying from Volunteer because they always do the right thing. I bought my system a week before their big pre-Black Friday sale. I called and asked for price protection and they credited the difference back to my credit card. Solid people over there.
If anyone is considering this system, buy it before the pre-Black Friday sale ends.
I installed it last week in my '24 RG. I love it. Big volume and crystal clear. I will be adding the 6x9s in my lids once the cut in kits are available. With this being 1,000 watts and plug-n-play ready to add up to 6 more speakers it's an awesome setup. Dealing with volunteer is second to none with their outstanding customer support.
Part of the reason this is so spendy is $900 of the purchase price is in the cost of the A2B interface.
Sweet ! .. I decided on the Fosgate and stage II speakers. Im not crazy about a piggy back amp .. and If I use "Harley" stuff, I shouldnt get any crap about my 7 year warranty being void. If it were my Honda Id do it in a second.
I got a pretty good deal on the Fosgate. I played 2 dealerships against each other and got a 15% discount plus I threw 90 bucks in points at it. Came in right at $839.
Got to hold a sumncguy tech session .. still havent installed the scrape plate or aux lights. I went out tonight to do the lights, pulled the radiator cover and found a mess. Spent some time cleaning that up. Toothbrush and damp soapy rag. One thing for sure... that cover does nothing to protect the radiator. Id expect bugs stuck in the radiator ... but there were also small rocks that passed through the cover stuck into the radiator. I used my shop vac brush to get most of it out. The rest I picked out by hand gently. I think I will try a little double sided tape to stick a screen on the inside of the radiator cover to catch some of that stuff. Ill share if it works.
