I love my GTS head unit. I got the little AA wireless puck and leave it in the media compartment. I also got a small USB hub so I can leave a flash drive with all my music on it as well. I use Windows Media Player Legacy to organize my music on my PC and create playlits. I just copied the content of my musc folder to a flash drive and all my playlists show up and work fine. If I ever want to add to or change a playlist I just do it on my PC and overwrite the contents of the Playlists folder on the flash drive. I also like that you can add albums as favorites just like you can add presets for FM stations on the radio.
I also like the information you can get on the GTS unit as well. As I'm riding around sometimes I will just click on the find dealer icon to see if any dealers are near by that I haven't visited lately. I never had a basic GT unit but I have played with them and would gladly pay to upgrade to a GTS if I had one. If I am using a supported wired headset the voice recognition seems to work pretty good for me. The occasional phone call works well also. Folks say they can hear me just fine.

I just switched to a GTS from a '23
Which USB hub do you have?
So Carplay and USB drive show up.
The wireless puck is for Carplay? Which unit is it?
The thing to remember with ANY aftermarket head unit is you lose the "Ultra" functions. If you don't want them that is fine, but I do like being able to use headsets and the speed control volume. If you set up your gains and DSP properly it can be made to work without blowing speakers. I've been using it fine for the past ten months and haven't had any problems.
Schex, I just dug through my old orders to pull the links to the USB hub and AA wireless puck I am using.
The wireless puck is for Android Auto. When I look at the source menu screen both the USB drive and Android Auto show up. I don't know how it would work with Apple Carplay. I'm afraid I only use Apple devices when my employer forces me to.
There are several comments about the 3rd party options: just be careful with them. I know that there was at least one that was a popular option a couple of years ago, it was a modified version of an infotainment system made for a car... the problem: it wasn't waterproof.
