Motorola MA-1 Dead ?

Motorola MA-1 Dead ?
I have a Motorola MA-1 Bluetooth adapter that seems to be useless al the sudden. Riding along a week ago , working fine , android screen up then just like I unplugged the USB cable from my phone , no android screen.
I've had it maybe 4 years , use it with my GTS and almost new S25 phone, worked great until now.
I've tried removing it from my phone and bike , rebooting my phone ,tried installing it from scratch , factory re-set on the MA-1 but the factory re-set doesn't give me the light sequence it's supposed to and my phone can no longer see it to pair ?
Anybody have a MA-1 crap out on them ?
What other good Bluetooth adapters are people using .

The MA-1 works great, right up until it doesn't. Mine died also right at 6 months. Lot's of reports on degraded performance over time and the "boot up loop" it eventually dies in. It's not a true Motorola developed product, just licensed by a sub-brand. I went with the AAWireless Two, also on amazon but I don't know the neat trick to make the short link. Not cheap but it's been working flawlessly for the past year.

well I had the ma1 and I had two of the ottocast and the ottocast was the worst. If you could get the Amazon one for 23 it's a no-brainer. Like I say I have one on my bike that stays there permanently and I have one for my car. There's a couple of threads about people liking this one the best too here... wow I thought they sold for 37 and when I bought them they were 54. I'll keep mine for spare now.

How old is yours - think there is a one-year warranty. Also, I think there were some updates - check to see if you have them and that you are properly doing a factory reset.

Mines 4 + years old , I did the factory re-set 3 months ago and it worked fine , now it's not ever flashing green after holding the button for 45 sec , and my phone never see's it to pair , it's toast , my new one arrived yesterday , gonna set it up today.
