How To Access Rear Speaker Pin Outs on the Harman Kardon Head Unit

You indicated that it's possible to add XM. I have a 2013 RG. I'm going to add rear speakers as you indicated but I would like some additional information on adding XM to the 35 pin connector. Would you have the information, parts, wiring and directions to add XM/Sirius to my 13 Road Glide?

This thread presumed that the reader already had a working HK radio in the bike. For example, the second plug (the one with the red covered wires) is the Base Audio Connector harness which provides the wiring for the handlebar audio controls, front speaker wiring, power and ground to the radio, etc. Said another way, without the BAC, you'll have no power to the HK and no handlebar controls.
You can find the parts you'll need in this link:

Just go to check-out after you've selected the parts you want and you'll get HD p/n's for them.
As for purchasing parts, my suggestion would be to find a dealer or two in the vicinity of your visit; call to speak to the parts manager to make arrangements to order and pay for the parts you need.
Good luck with your project.

my bike is a utral road glide CVO, has a HK amp located under the tour pak, i bought an extended sound set with code 76000263 for the purpose of using 2 saddlebags, i followed the HD instructions but it seems like the speaker is unstable, overloaded, listening to noise, the speaker set I am using has 2 ohms in turn, 2 front 1ohms, 2 rear (tourpak) 2ohms, 2 saddlebags 1 ohms, thank you

Just FYI, Carl sold his bikes and is now retired from anything HD. Good to see people still using this thread though.
