Harley Boom Audio Winshield Mount
Looking to install one of these http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...6&default=none on my 01 fatboy / instructions however dont list my year as being compatible. I have looked at it very closely and cant figure out why it wont work, dealership is stumped to. Anybody know something I dont. Also has anyone installed one of these yet / what do you think about it.

Sometimes it seems the Motor Company takes literal stock bike explanation., i.e. did the Fatboy come with a windshield that year your model was produced?
The other explanation could be the headlight and nacelle of the fat boy which is like the old hydra glide and early duo glides, may not leave enough room for mounting that thing on the bars.

Took a ride to the dealership today, wanted to see in person what was going on with the fitment issue. Sure enough it does not work / bottom of the speaker hits on the triple tree by about 3/8". To bad I really wanted on of these they are designed real sleek and nice. Maybe someone in the HD development will read this post and work on a model for the earlier models.
