Been doing tons of research on here trying to decide what direction to go with a speaker upgrade. I'm not wanting to go nuts, just upgrading my front speakers from stock at this point. All said, I am looking at buying a pair of the J&M Rokker 7.25 speakers for the batwing - no amp or anything else at this time. I think the part number is HCRK-7252GTM-XTC. A few questions:
1). Has anyone just replaced their stock speakers with these and added nothing else? If so, what do you think about the outcome?
2). If there truly is a better set of speakers out there, with a better sound, what would you recommend?
3). Dr. VTwin seemed to be a contact on here that offerred some price breaks to forum members, but his website links appear to be broken. Did he go out of business possibly?
Again, I just want an improvement in sound quality over stock without getting too carried away - need a little more punch when I'm at highway speeds.

dforeid I too am interested in this upgrade. I have researched this to nauseating extents and its clear that the J&M Rokker speakers are a great upgrade.
Worth noting though, is that many people say that to get the most out of the Rokkers you need the 250W amp as well.
I have also been looking at the HAWG WIRED speakers (SX504-60) and amp (DCS1202), they too come with great reviews. Note: the HW speakers are 4 Ohm and your stock HK head unit is 2 Ohm output, so unless you want the HW amp - the J&M Rokkers are 2 Ohm and will match the output of the stock HK head unit without the J&M amp.
Good Luck!
