Default 1995 Electra Glide speakers

It appears I can only put a 4" speaker in the fairing of my 1995 Electra Glide. I'm having an issue with the fact that all speakers seem to mount on the outside with a grill cover. Even if I knock out the existing grill covers (they appear to be glued in), it doesn't look like there is enough room to put a speaker cover. Do they make a speaker that mounts on the inside and I just leave my stock cloth covers on? Any help installing a system will help. Going to go with a 'media player'. No CD. Any suggestions are appreciated.

thanx,

Putter

man you're pretty limited on what you can do there.. Check these out as they'll fit the bill.

Thanx for the link UltraNutZ. I'll check it out. You're right, I am limited. Seems like '95' was the break for a lot of things. I've had to modify most everything I do including late style seat, quick attach sissy bar and tourpack, but after spending what I did on the engine, I'm not ready to get rid of it. Again, thanx.

No, not an S&S. Started as a stock 'police' 80" which is 5 HP higher from the factory to begin with. Bike had a knock when I bought it so I knew it needed to be rebuilt anyway. Oversize pistons, Crane cam, all new valve train, flywheels, rods, etc. balanced. Head work done, and a little squish on the heads for compression. Then put a Mikuni carb and a big sucker aircleaner, and it runs pretty well. Lotta torque for pulling hills. Blows people away how I can pull em on a hill. Thanx for the compliment.

Default Polk

Thanx beardog. I notice the Polk wants to mount on the outside, which means I would have to knowk out my grills. Is that what you had to do? Then it doesn't look like there is enough room to put the Polk grill covers on. I guess one of my real concerns is also will I even be able to hear 4" speakers going down the road? . . help . . again.
