I had a stock hd stereo with hog tunes 24.2 amp and 5x7 speakers.
today I replaced the stereo with a sony dsx ms60. It now is louder and I think the hog tunes speakers are not cutting it anymore. Will the polk speakers that ultranutz suggest sound better with the current amp? If I go with the polk were is the best place to buy the speaker pods from?
Thanks in advance
Derek
For the little bit extra, replace the amp. Apples/Oranges......... I'm sure you could sell the amp & speakers as a set , to recoup a little of your investment !!

30w @ 2ohms is not much power but certainly is an improvement over stock however I always tell people to use what you've already paid for first. I'd replace speakers first, then if you see it's still not enough, go for the amp.
Check out the Polk Audio MM571 which will bolt right in as a replacement speaker.
