Three way speakers
Has anyone ran a three way component speaker set up with the mid and tweeter in the fairing and then mounting the woofer in the lowers? Any pros or cons sound wise? Space wise I think it would be great. I would mount the tweeter and mid were the original fairing speaker was on a flat panel behind the grill.

Simply drop a 6.5" 3 way in the fairing and drop a 6.5" 3 way in your lowers and be done with it. You'll need 6.5" adapter rings for the fairing.
