Default Vibration reduction/elimination

I have the BT2180 with BT 7.1's in the fairing and Titan 6.5's in the lowers. I recently went back to 19.0 software. It all sounds good while riding but with the engine off, I hear a lot of vibrations in the fairing and lowers. Anyone have any suggestions on trying to eliminate some of the vibrations? I tightened everything up pretty good but wondering do I need to put some type of material behind the speakers in the lowers or something in the fairing to deaden the vibrations? I know I have to take the lower speakers off and redrill the speaker wire so I get a decent fit on the speaker pod cover. It doesn't sit flush on the lower (on the top). Instructions for placement of the hole for the speaker wire where not great!

Another observation: mounting the speakers in the lowers with the grill was a PITA. It would seem to me that you should mount the speakers and then attach the grills. The little screws seem cheesy in my opinion.

For the vibration I used Second Skin Damplifier which worked very well. Two sheets is all you need to do the inside of the fairing. The best price I could find at the time was $40 for for two sheets. So I went with 5 sheets for $60. On the SG I folded a piece of batten and put it behind the speaker in the pods.

As far as getting the speakers and grills to fit properly in the lowers I had to elongate the speaker holes on the Mille Pros so they lined up better.

D you attach the material to inside the fairing or just lay it over the fairing gear? As for the speakers, I am pulling them off this weekend and will fix the holes.

The Second Skin Damplifier is self adhering and is applied to the inside of the outer fairing. If you go this route pick up a roller and use gloves to apply it. It's very sharp on the edges. It's well worth it thou.
