I really don't want the cross-overs "exposed" or in the tour pak.
What about using the DX series in the pods, with MM651s in batwing, powered by PN4.520D? Even though the DXs are 4 ohm, they can't help but be better than the stock units and should provide decent fill-in sound. Any real CONS in doing this?
ya know.. fooling with these lids and the "new" crossovers I have to install for them as well, got me to thinking. I don't think I tried to mount the tourpak pod crossovers to the inside top of the tourpak pod. Anyone verify this so I don't have to pull mine apart? :-)
You could always put the xovers in the fairing and run speaker wires to the rears
I'd actually considered this option but didn't want to run new wiring or splice in to the existing wires in the fairing.
