I just installed my new polls and alpine amp question is is there anything I can do to enclose or make it like the speaker is in a box? Any dyi tips that work?
You can wrap some polyfil (pillow stuffing @ $8.00) around the speakers (recommended by UltraNutz here on the forum) and/or add the J&M audio foam fairing liner (about $45.00).
People using the polyfil say that it really makes the sound come alive and tightens up the bass.

It doesn't cost a penny if you snag one of your wife's pillows. Noticeable difference... will put the "punch" in the bass. Really makes them come alive.
Some folks just wrap it around the speakers, then put the fairing back on. I'd recommend using some masking tape to hold it in place, taping the polyfil to itself.
