Take a look in the audio section especially the two posts in there with high numbers on them and you'll find all the audio **** pics you can stand. :-)
Ok if I would change out my head unit what would you recommend? Going with an aftermarket headunit going to be that much better? Waterproof? I should state I don't have an iPhone or iPod. I just like a aux input on it. Unless someone is making a system to run a samgsung like they run an iPod

Aftermarket head units will make a tremendous difference in sound quality and if you go that route, find a head unit YOU like that has 4v RCA outputs, this is crucial. The Sony and Alpine head units seem to be the most compatible with the Biketronics and Haw-Wired handlebar control kits. If you buy anything other than a Sony/Alpine, call both BT and HW and check for compatibility before buying.
The Sony DSX-S210BTX and 310BTX both have a USB input on the front of them so if your Samsung has a USB output (or a cable that goes from your phone to USB), you will have control of it through the handlebar controls.

I have seen a few complaints about the new SS PN4.520 amp with the addition of the wire block. I have not been able to find the old style. I assume you still recommend it? Does it make install more difficult?
Thanks.
Over the weekend I went on a ride with a few guys that had street glides and road glides that had CRAZY *** sounding systems, like hear them crystal clear from BLOCKS away. I recently bought a 08 Deluxe and love it, now that I see the streetglides all done up, Im thinking my next bike will be a S.G.
So, basically curious if you can add subs to the S.G.'s? I guess not having a FULL range of sound levels (lows, mids & highs) is what these guys are lacking. I mean, the highs and mids were f-in great, but no lows (bass)
I guess what Im trying to say, IF I had a S.G. right now, I would want some crazy *** bass too, not just highs n mids?
I have skull kicking bass. It can be done WITHOUT subs. I have the lowest rated frequency 6X9's I've ever seen, pushed by Alpine PDX power....... If you run 4 low frequency 6X9's with aLOT of CLEAN power,.............they will THUMP !!
So, would you consider them 6x9 sub woofers They cant be 2 or 3 way because I would think your pushing low freq's to them via a crossover or even thru the filter on the amp itself, right?
