I had OME speakers in and they sucked so I thought I'd upgrade to the boom speakers offered by HD well not much better. So I'm wondering what's a good speaker? I have a streetglide and tour pac with the speaker pods. Do I amp it then? I would like to stay with my head unit. I would like them to be nice and loud and needs some good bass. Thanks in advance
well you're really not going to get a whole lot of bass out of a 6.5" speaker. It will sounds tremendously better than what you have but not a ton of bass. If you want bass, you'll need to look into subwoofer options.
As for good amp and speakers, there are a ton out there and it really boils down to a couple of things; 1.) what your budget is and 2.) what you expect out of your system.
that's correct sir. If you do the fading flash by the dealer then we also need to wire the inputs on the amp differently so let us know what you decide to do prior to buying anything.
I just got off the phone with the dealership. They put the tour pack on and the speakers in for me. And they said that they were pretty sure they did the fading download. I will have to check when I get home for myself. He aslo said that I have to do a download for my amp??? I have never heard of this and I have put a few car systems in. Is the amp the you suggested small enough to fit inside the fairing? Sorry for all the questions
