So, UltraNutz
I have a stock 2012 SG that I want to add an amp and a set of fairing speakers. You have reccomended to me before the SS amp. Do you have preference over the Titan II 6.5 or the 7.1's? I am only looking to do the fairing speakers at this time. I might add lowers one of these days.
Thanks

exactly what GP said here.. and in retrospect the reason I recommended the BT 6.5" Titan II is because they can handle power and although their speakers are rated at 2.83v, as GP stated it take more power to push them to the same equal point and the SS as well as other amps have the power to drive them so no real concerns on my end.
No preference sir on the speakers. I haven't had the opportunity to fool with the 7.1 speakers yet though. I did talk with Mike, Bill, and Donna at Biketronics about them a few days ago though and what with my dealings with BT over the years, I have no reason to doubt what they're telling me about the 7.1. I do know they're manufactured by HAT as well. IMO bigger and more POWER is always best.

yeah but put some power behind them and I bet they wake up big-time.
Another set of speakers that I'd REALLY like to hear with some serious power behind them....
Gonna add 2 more speakers,....in the lowers, and everytime I think I might have an idea what I want,.............I want to hear something else.
