Thanks UN!!! I am dying to get this fixed and I really appreciate your quick response.

On my way to Walmart to buy some more polyfil since the tech did not give me the rest back. I will do exactly as you recommended when I get back, and will report the results.

most awesome! Those are good amps as well as the J&M version just can't figure out for the world of me why a manufacturer would hide those controls from the consumers.

can the amp be mounted with the ipod and xm modules installed on top of the stock radio?

I would relocate the modules under the HU. Forum member Scott Ezzell makes a bracket to do just that or you could use heavy duty velcro to stick them to the bottom of HU. I used Scott's bracket and highly recommend it.
